The Product
A dry, water-activated powder engineered to fracture rock and concrete from drilled boreholes — without explosives.

What Is It
Crackstone is a dry, water-activated expansive powder. Mixed with water and poured into a drilled borehole, it expands gradually — building enough pressure to split the surrounding rock or concrete along the line of holes. No fuse, no flame, no shockwave.
It's used for rock breaking, boulder splitting, quarrying, concrete demolition, and excavation — anywhere a job needs rock removed but blasting isn't permitted or practical.
How It's Made
Calcium-oxide-based mineral compounds, sourced and graded for purity.
Milled to a controlled particle size — the single biggest factor in reaction timing.
Blended in batch to the documented pressure and timing profile for each category.
Every batch is lab-tested against spec before it's released to ship.
Crackstone is manufactured from calcium-oxide-based mineral compounds, milled to a controlled particle size and blended under quality control. Every production run is tested against its published specification before release, so reaction timing and expansive pressure stay consistent from batch to batch.

Safety Guidelines
Crackstone removes explosives risk, not site risk in general. Wear standard PPE (eye protection, gloves, dust mask while mixing), keep the area around an active borehole clear, and follow the full safety data sheet shipped with every order.
